Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter, when she was a character on the television show One Tree Hill. She was Alex for three of its last four seasons. On the episodes the singer-songwriter sang her debut country albums. The album with named Thirty One was placed within the Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached number ten. The decade ended with her appearances on Dancing with the Stars, television shows, and singles that were not album tracks. Released in 2021 was The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native who was raised by country music. Though she had a recording and acting career, her debut on screen came in the independent horror movie Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still in high school. Over the years, she appeared on several series, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the part of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer was cast in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 2008-2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before being cast on the The CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009. She continued to appear until the final season of the show in 2012. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer signed a recording contract for her record label Elektra Records and debuted the contemporary country love song I Won't Give up in a show episode from 2011 in One Tree Hill. It was later featured on her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. It landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Her focus was on her musical career thereafter without retiring from acting Kramer appeared in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet on Aerosmith helped the album to achieve even greater success, reaching the number three position in the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her time on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months before ending with a 4th-place final. The singer also had a hit for adult contemporary in the form of Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
