golf gda95903ce_640Golf isn't the same as the other ball games. It is not a game with the same playing surface. This makes it challenging to adjust to the various conditions on every course. Courses typically have either 9 or 18 holes, zones of terrain that include a cup, which is which is the hole that holds the ball. Every hole in a course is a teeing surface to start from, and an putting green that houses the cup. There are several standard forms of terrain between the tee and green, such as the fairway, rough (tall grass) and various hazards, such as water, rocks or bunkers filled with sand. Each hole on a course is distinctive in its particular layout.Golf is played for the lowest number of strokes per player which is known as stroke play or the score that is the lowest on the most holes in a complete round, whether by an individual or a team, known as match play. The stroke play format is the most widely played form at all levels, especially at the top level.
